heyhey so today is my turn to blog! :] we decided to try a little bit of stop motion today for fun. and below this paragraph are some of the clips we've taken! :b don't mind the lighting and exposure and such cause we still haven't finalise how the lighting would be yet. we wanted to use three lamps but one of them couldn't work and so we will have to leave that for tomorrow. ohoh and we didn't do any of the scenes in the story but just random shots and little tests to get a rough idea on how it should be done and the stuff we should look out for/avoid doing etc. Anyway, check them out!
heh pretty cool eh!! we got all excited when we scanned through the pics in the camera. ;b but based on this short tests, i realised that we must be really careful when moving the objects around. if the shelf is moved even just a teeny weeny bit, the movement can be pretty obvious. also, the camera shakes a bit when we press the buttons to get a shot...but we can't really do much about that unless we get one of those things that can be connected to the camera in a way that we won't have to touch the camera but just a button connected by a wire. hmm get what i mean? heh. geez i should go and find out the name for that thing. *googles* hmm i can't seem to find it... anybody know what it's called?
anyway, another thing we got to note is that we don't accidentally block the lighting in some shots. that would be pretty obvious too. but other then that i think we can manage to pull it off! i hope. ;b i would like to see the whole piece done in it's entirety but i'm afraid we wouldn't be able to finish completely...there's only 2 weeks for us to animate the whole thing! but i guess if we plan our schedule properly and stick to it we would be fine. ;] yea so that's what we did today!
